Welcome to our exciting "Around the World" Art Course!

This creative course invites children to travel around the world through art. Each lesson introduces a different country, culture, or fascinating place on our planet while teaching drawing and painting techniques in a fun and engaging way. Through every project, children will discover interesting facts about architecture, nature, traditions, and world cultures.

Throughout the course, students develop creativity, imagination, observation skills, and artistic confidence. They will learn how to work with color, composition, different art materials, and a variety of artistic techniques while creating unique artworks of their own.

Our main goal is to inspire children to observe the world with curiosity, express themselves through art, and enjoy the creative process.

Course Program

1. Dutch Windmills

Lesson: Learn how traditional Dutch windmills worked and why they became a symbol of the Netherlands.
Materials: Acrylic paints.
Project: A landscape with a windmill, canal, and green fields.
Skills: Composition, color, light, and perspective.

2. The Mysterious Olmecs

Lesson: Discover one of the oldest civilizations of the Americas and their famous giant stone heads.
Materials: Pencils and markers.
Project: Create a fantasy guardian spirit inspired by Olmec art.
Skills: Contour drawing, shape, and imagination.

3. Palm Jumeirah Island

Lesson: Explore how Dubai's famous artificial island was built.
Materials: Acrylic paints.
Project: Paint a colorful map of Palm Jumeirah with beaches, palm trees, and the sea.
Skills: Geometry, composition, and spatial thinking.

4. Mount Fuji

Lesson: Travel to Japan and discover its most famous symbol—Mount Fuji.
Materials: Acrylic paints.
Project: A colorful artwork featuring Mount Fuji, cherry blossoms, and the sun.
Skills: Composition and color.

5. The Great Barrier Reef

Lesson: Explore the world's largest coral reef and its amazing underwater life.
Materials: Watercolors.
Project: An underwater scene with corals, tropical fish, and sea turtles.
Skills: Watercolor techniques, transparency, and movement.

6. Why Are There Almost No Bridges Across the Amazon?

Lesson: Learn fascinating facts about the Amazon River and its tropical rainforest.
Materials: Soft pastels.
Project: A jungle landscape with rivers, trees, and tropical animals.
Skills: Texture, natural forms, and landscape drawing.

7. Lucky Cat (Maneki-neko)

Lesson: Discover the famous Japanese symbol of good luck. What do the different colors mean? Why is one paw raised?
Materials: Markers.
Project: Draw a Lucky Cat and create a glowing background using a sponge technique.
Skills: Marker techniques, light effects, and color.

8. Floating Markets of Bangkok

Lesson: Visit Thailand's colorful floating markets and learn about this unique tradition.
Materials: Watercolors and colored pencils.
Project: Boats filled with fruit and flowers floating on the water.
Skills: Bright colors, reflections, and fine details.

9. The World's Biggest Burger

Lesson: Discover where the hamburger originated, learn about the world's most expensive burger, artists inspired by burgers, and other fun facts.
Materials: Markers.
Project: A colorful illustration of a giant burger.
Skills: Shape, color, volume, and illustration.

10. Indian Spices

Lesson: Learn about India's famous spices, their history, and their importance in Indian culture and cuisine.
Materials: Soft pastels.
Project: A decorative illustration of Indian spices and herbs.
Skills: Color, texture, and decorative composition.

11. Africa – Traditional Patterns & Fabrics

Lesson: Explore colorful African textiles and traditional decorative patterns.
Materials: Markers and acrylic paints.
Project: A decorative artwork inspired by African ornaments.
Skills: Pattern design, geometry, rhythm, and color.

12. Port Lockroy (Antarctica)

Lesson: Travel to Antarctica and discover Port Lockroy—the world's southernmost post office. Learn about penguins and life on the coldest continent.
Materials: Watercolors.
Project: A winter postcard featuring penguins on the ice.
Skills: Cool color palette, creating volume, snowy textures, and watercolor techniques.
